Le Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts in Pasadena, California has a student run 3-star restaurant named five-sixty-one.  The restaurant was in need of a website that matched its classic style and captured the ambiance of the dining experience offered.

The biggest challenge in creating a website for the restaurant industy is creating a visually engaging user experience that is easy to keep updated by non-technical restaurant staff.

Bistro 561 offers daily lunch and dinner menus planned, prepared and served by the culinary students.  Lunch, dinner and tasting menus change daily porviding a unique content management problem for a staff whose time should be focused on running the restaurant and pleasing the customers.

DRWS developed an easy to use interface for updating the website.  Once they've planned the menu, Chefs can easily take 5 minutes to log in to the website and update it with the day's menu.

Foodies rely heavily on reputation, which five-sixty-one has, but they also are on the hunt for the next great meal.  Providing five-sixty-one with a responsive, easy to use, easy to navigate website helps the restaurant attracts new customers and keep returning customers coming through their doors.
