After DeKalb Park District's initial website project left less than desirable results, they contacted DRWS to come in a save the day! The park district was in dire need of a user-friendly website that would allow community members to find information quickly and easily on the front-end as well as allow for flexibility on the back-end.

From a design perspective, our goal was to add energy and life into the theming to enhance the natural beauty of the parks and highlight the features of each facility.  Through vibrant call-to-actions and clear navigation areas, DRWS made traveling through the DeKalb Park District site a breeze for visitors.

Using the Drupal platform, we built three websites for the DeKalb Park District utilizing the multi-domain access functionality, which enables staff to easily make modifications to all three websites using one log-in and one set of administrative tools.  Each site operates independently, with their own navigation, site structure, call-to-actions, slideshows, color palettes and domain names.  However, as a logged-in staff member, one can move seamlessly from one website to another, making managing three websites more efficient.

With new site architecture, better organized information, beautiful imagery and striking graphics, the DeKalb Park District, along with the Buena Vista and River Heights Golf Course websites, will prove to be valuable resources for park goers, golfers and recreational enthusiasts alike.
