Like many Rotary International Club Chapters around the country, Kishwaukee Sunrise Rotary's website was poorly designed, not easy to use and as a result out-of-date and not regularly used by the club membership.  Kish Rotary was in need of a collaborative, membership-based content platform to encourage its members to be active and engaged in the club's mission.

Direct Response Web Solutions proposed the development of a club membership website that would be easy-to-maintain and designed from the ground up to handle the unique requirements of Rotary Club Chapter communication and marketing through a content management interface.

In the past, maintenance of the website was handled by a single volunteer who had to learn how to edit html to make even the simplest of changes.  The new website we developed distributes the workload across multiple members, each committee and board member has a unique set of permissions to securely update content on the website. 

Adding meeting agendas, event information, news items and photo galleries are merely a few of the capabilities offered by Drupal as a development platform.  User management and the ability for club members to keep their profiles up-do-date was another valuable feature for Kishwaukee Rotary Club.

Today, the website is thriving.  A small group of members maintain the website and keep information about the club's activities, its members and its community service project fresh and relevant. A comprehensive website will help Kishwaukee Rotary publicize their efforts and increase their membership.
