Nehring approached DRWS needing a website redesign. The primary goal of the project was to develop a user interface that was engagin and useful to sales staff and customer base, by offering full product data and specifications in an easy to navigate and digest way.
To kick-off the project, DRWS consulted with Nehring about a wish list of website wants and needs. After this discovery phase, we determined that due to the relationships between the products, Drupal would be the best platform to build the new site on. DRWS created meaningful site architecture and data relationships between content types, which resulted in consistency through the entire site. Product pages, with the click of a button are both printer-friendly and converted to a PDF download, for the wire manufacturer's sales force and customer-base.
From a design perspective, it was important to help visitors find the information they are looking for as quickly and easily as possible through the use of call-to-action navigation graphics. In doing this, we utilize the three main product categories: Copper, Aluminum, and Ground Rods. We coordinated the new logo by using a metallic color palette, clean lines and a vivide banner image.
Afther the website redesign project, Nehring has received nothing but positive feedback from its staff and customers. DRWS partnered with Nehring to help the DeKalb-based company expand its online presence along with its expanding product line. This partnership expanded as well to encompass a catalog redesign and direct mailer.
