The ReNew Our Schools campaign was in need of a dedicated team to clean-up and keep the campaigns website up-to-date during the 6-week campaign to pass a $100M referendum for Community Unit District 428.
DRWS designed the website using the DeKalb Barbs black and orange colors. The website was filled with up-to-date information about the referendum and also provided a way to let supports donate their time or money to help encourage the passage of the referendum.
Communication was facilitated through the use of Google Groups for the various campaign committees and email communication was continuous throughout.
The success of the campaign hinged on the community’s readiness to understand the issues and break through the myths. The campaign website was a small but mighty player in getting the community out to vote.
